Advanced Flow Engineering, Inc. (aFe) produces high flow, high performance air filters & intake systems for the automotive industry. Founded in April, 1999, aFe was created to address an obvious need in the automotive aftermarket industry: a lack of choice for a high performance aftermarket air filter.
We are a team of engineers, machinists, production and sales people who believe in the product we design. We each have years of experience in our respective positions and together work to ensure that we have the best product on the market. Our purpose was not just to be another vendor that offers air filters, we chose to pay attention to those finer details that set an aFe filter apart from the competition.

Air Lift Company has been developing air spring suspension products for more than 50 years. The original product, a rubber air spring inserted into a car's factory coil spring, was developed and patented in 1950.
The versatility of Air Lift air springs was proven during the early years of stock car racing. Air Lift products were used by most of the stock car racing teams for twenty years and the sponsored cars were among the toughest competitors on the NASCAR Grand National Circuit.

Hypertech is the technology leader in High-performance engine tuning computer-controlled vehicles. Electronic engine controls have evolved rapidly since their introduction in the early ’80s. Hypertech has kept pace with these rapid advances in technology by developing power tuning products that take advantage of the capabilities of these electronic controls. Early automotive computers used replaceable PROMs or “chips” to calibrate the Electronic Control Module (ECM) for a specific engine, powertrain, and vehicle combination. Hypertech created the original Power Chips to recalibrate these electronic “brains” for improved performance.
Later generations of Electronic Control Units (ECU) eliminated calibration chips. Instead, engine tuning information is stored in the unit’s programmable memory. In addition to controlling basic engine functions, microprocessors now monitor and govern a wide range of systems, including the transmission, brakes, instrument panel, emission controls, and heating/air conditioning. For comparison, the code stored in an early chip would fill one page; now a typical ECU contains more than 1,600 pages of code!
Hypertech created the Power Programmer to access this “flash” memory and download the Hypertech Power Tuning program directly into the ECU’s programmable memory.
In addition to controlling engine functions such as air/fuel mixture, spark timing, and maximum rpm, these highly evolved ECUs also regulate transmission shift points and firmness, limit top speed, and display speedometer and odometer readings. Hypertech engineers were able to use these capabilities to provide additional features for enthusiasts. The Power Programmer is much more than a tuning chip ¬ it is a self-contained automotive tuning computer. The Power Programmer automatically installs the powerful Hypertech tuning program. Superchips' original products were EPROMs (or "chips") which could be installed in place of the original OEM EPROMs located in your vehicle's on-board control module. These chips, just like the tuners of today, keep the entire vehicle safety and emissions systems intact, but modify the fuel, spark and transmission settings to deliver dramatic power, torque and drivability improvements. With the advent of OBD-II vehicle control module in the early 1990's, most domestic vehicle manufacturers installed under-dash ports ("ALDL ports") which allowed dealers and service techs to "re-flash" the vehicle's control module to change engine settings without replacing an EPROM.
So today, instead of chips, Superchips primarily sells hand-held tuners which achieve the same dramatic drivetrain improvements, without the hassle of popping the hood, pulling out the vehicle control module and replacing a chip. Toyo pioneered the development of vehicle-specific tires, as well as ultra high-performance sport radial tires. Of course, advanced polymer technology played a role in these breakthroughs, but they were also made possible by Toyo’s original Dynamic Stability Optimized Contact (DSOC) theory technology that was first utilized in 1988. Toyo introduced an updated version of this technology, called DSOC II, in 1995. The latest “T mode” technology is based on DSOC II, but is even more precise and evolutionary.

What's the difference? Volant Cool Air Intakes take a different approach to making power. Volant seals conical, high-flow air filter in a box that has more air volume than factory units. This process also eliminates any chance of hot air from contaminating the intake charge to the engine.
Other intakes use shields to block hot air but not all of it is eliminated. With the hood closed and the engine at normal operating temperatures, open element systems do not ingest hot-engine heat. In fact, recent tests have shown that some electric fans actually blow hot air into the intake on those systems using a heat shield. Any time air intake temperatures begin to read 100 degrees and higher, the engine's ECM begins to take away ignition timing and power is dramatically reduced.
